Overview

AcadSites is an enterprise-grade, zero-overage cloud hosting platform that automatically builds and deploys static websites, full-stack frameworks, and containerized Node.js applications directly from GitHub. Every project is provisioned with an automated SSL certificate, a dedicated edge-routed subdomain, and hard resource boundaries to completely eliminate unexpected cloud bills.

Prerequisites

Before deploying your first application on AcadSites, verify that you have:

Quick Check

AcadSites supports all Node.js versions (v18, v20, v22) and standard static asset bundles out of the box.

RequirementDetailsSupported Version
Git ProviderGitHub account with repository accessAny public or private repo
RuntimeNode.js or Static HTML/JS/CSSNode 18.x, 20.x, 22.x
Package Manifestpackage.json in repository root or subfoldernpm, pnpm, yarn, bun

Step 1: Import Your Repository

Navigate to the AcadSites Console and select "New Project". You will be presented with the GitHub Repository Import Wizard. Click "Connect GitHub" if you have not already linked your account, and choose the repository you wish to host.

Monorepos & Subdirectories

If your frontend lives inside a subfolder (such as /apps/web or /frontend), specify the Root Directory in the build configuration step.

Step 2: Configure Build Settings

AcadSites automatically detects your framework (Next.js, Vite, Static, or Node.js) and pre-populates the recommended build command and output directory. You can customize these defaults if your build requires custom scripts.

npm run build

Step 3: Launch and Monitor Build

Click "Deploy Project". The AcadSites Build Engine will pull your code, install dependencies in an isolated container sandbox, execute your build script, and push your artifacts to our Global Edge Network. You can observe compilation progress in real time via the Live Terminal Console.

Accessing Your Live URL

Once deployment reaches the READY status, your application is live immediately at your assigned vanity subdomain: https://{your-project}-acadsites.acadkits.dev. You can now configure custom domains, set up environment secrets, or inspect analytics.
